So last week was a little hectic. I have been getting more hours at
work since everyone seems to be quitting and it's nice but also tiring.
On my one day off next week I went to Bellefontaine Cemetery. It has
all the well-to-do's in STL and some really famous people resting there.
I, somehow, did not see the "famous" part but I did wander around for a
good hour and a half just looking at the monument art and the dates.
Back home Dad and I would look through old cemeteries to find the oldest
person buried there. So far, the coolest person I've seen to date was
the "first white girl" to be buried in the Toledo Area, it even said so
on her head stone. She died in 1812 or something like that.
BUT Bellefontaine was GORGEOUS! Seriously though.
I
have also figured out that if I stay in the city too long I go stir
crazy and just need some grass and to not hear the hustle and bustle of
city life. The cemetery is a great place to do that, the residents are
really quiet.
So I just tried to upload some pictures and they are not configuring correctly. I will have to work on that because I have some pretty interesting things to show you!
After spending a day wandering around a cemetery I tried to share my cool pictures with Moni and Jake. When they weren't the LEAST bit interested I realized how much of a nerd I really am. Eh, que sera sera. I had fun.
The city does have it's days and nights where it is beautiful. The other day I was walking to work at around 6:45 am and it was foggy out, it's eerie to not be able to see the tops of building but also kind of cool. At that early hour not many people were out and it almost felt like I had the city to myself, it was a neat feeling.
On the last day off I had (Sunday), Jake and I went for a drive and aquainted our selves with STL's surrounding areas.

Some other day during the week Jake and Moni made homemade stroughanaugh. I'm not quite sure how to spell that. But, when I say homemade I mean totally and completely homemade down to the noodles.
Needless to say it was DE-licious. I also made cookies...be jealous. Snicker-doodles.
And ya know, other than that we've all been working. Moni got overtime last week at work I got full time last week and will reach 40 again this week. It's been pretty busy around here.
I have one last thing before I give you all of my "Agnes is weird" pictures. We have a visitor today, Agnes is suspiciously watching her every move. Not only is it another woman in the house it is Pepper Potts.
Pepper can't move without Agnes knowing. But Agnes is doing better than last time when she was panting.
And now for Agnes is weird.
