This was my first Fourth not at home with the family. It was different, we went down to the Arch to watch Trace Adkins and the fireworks. That morning though we were awoken by a drum corps right outside our window. The weather was beautiful so we had the windows open.
Jake and I went for a drive that day before the fireworks and ended up at Meramac Caverns, which are a HUGE tourist trap but Jake wanted to go. So despite the rather large cost to get in, we had fun. Here are some pictures.

When I was down in the cave it just reminded me how lucky we are to have a Father to make all of that to bless us. It was really beautiful and I'm glad we went.
We meandered on the way there and found a super cute small town! Since it was a holiday nothing was open but people were all along the river fishing, it reminded me of home. I have some pictures but the site is being weird and I can't find them right now, I will post them when I can find them.
On Saturday we went to a cookout with some believers. It was so nice and fun to be around believers again. Jake and Moni went too and had fun as well. Last Tuesday I started going to a youth fellowship and most of them were there so that was nice. This girl from fellowship and I have been talking a lot, she is super sweet and the other night we went out for snowcones.
We are again at war with The Neighbors, we brought them over some Peach pie made by Jake (shock and awe) to get a leg up in the war, well not two days after they brought over pistachio muffins. We are still planning our next move, we're thinking Mexican food.
So finally today we took Agnes to the vet, she has black gunk in her ears. Come to find out it's mites and a yeast infection. :( we felt soooo bad! Her ears were down and she growled at Moni. We tried to pet her and comfort her but she would move to the other side of the cat rug and lay down with her back facing us. We knew we had to make it up to her somehow, so we took her to the pet store. We looked at the fish, which didn't help, we walked around, looked at toys...nothing made her feel better! So finally we took her to see the birds, she loved the birds. Seriously, we sat there for a good five minutes. We got her a new toy and a harness and leash so she can walk around on the roof with us. When we finally got home Agnes hid herself. Moni and I are pretty sure she is plotting our death for later today. I'll let you know how that goes.
And since the pictures from about a year ago now aren't showing up when I try to upload them here's a video of The Beans helping Tia sweep the floor.
