Flying Monkeys!

I am so sorry about my computer being weird with the pictures, I am just going to dump them all out at the end with captions so you can see them without a separate post. Also, sorry Dave for not tagging you, I didn't mean to I just forget who to tag and I'm not upset with you.

So all last week my whole family was at the lake and I was super jealous! And a little bit homesick. So Moni and I decided to walk down to the LIBRARY with the Den Mother. They had a cool exhibit about The Wizard of Oz. It was for children but that didn't stop us from enjoying it to. I took many pictures though Den Mother has asked me no to post them on the internet if you can see her face clearly so, sucks to be you you cant see all the fun we had. Sorry.

The library is GORGEOUS! It's just one of those super cool buildings that I could stay in forever. I of course had to get a library card and limited myself to four books because I have things to get done. Also, they have a genealogy section which made me think of Crazy Uncle Billy.

Since then I feel like I've done nothing but work. Since Thursday I've been working and Saturday I even pulled a split. In between those shifts was interesting. Moni's car broke down on the way to her job Saturday so I picked her up and jump started her car. While we were on the way to a mechanic her brakes and power steering went out and he almost lost control. Luckily, I mean extremely EXTREMELY lucky, she stopped right outside of a Dobs garage. Turns out her alternator (which we figured it was) is bad and so is her battery.  Jake's car is also in getting fixed. I find it funny since my car is the oldest and holding out the best so far.

Yesterday (Sunday) Jake and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary. FIVE YEARS! What in the world am I doing with my life!? Hahahaha just kidding. I love him. We had brunch at Blondie's and then came home and I took a nap. After that we had a massage scheduled and then went to dinner. It was a place that butchered the meat in the back of the restaurant but unfortunately the steaks weren't very good.

I worked today. I work tomorrow. I will probably sleep all day on my day off this week, Wednesday. But I'm thankful I'm picking up more hours at work and am making better money during the day.

Now for some pictures, and don't worry Agnes is in here too.

There's a meercat plotting my death

Happy July!!!!

This was my first Fourth not at home with the family. It was different, we went down to the Arch to watch Trace Adkins and the fireworks. That morning though we were awoken by a drum corps right outside our window. The weather was beautiful  so we had the windows open.

Jake and I went for a drive that day before the fireworks and ended up at Meramac Caverns, which are a HUGE tourist trap but Jake wanted to go. So despite the rather large cost to get in, we had fun. Here are some pictures.

This is a reflection in the water, it was still as glass.

When I was down in the cave it just reminded me how lucky we are to have a Father to make all of that to bless us. It was really beautiful and I'm glad we went.

We meandered on the way there and found a super cute small town! Since it was a holiday nothing was open but people were all along the river fishing, it reminded me of home. I have some pictures but the site is being weird and I can't find them right now, I will post them when I can find them.

On Saturday we went to a cookout with some believers. It was so nice and fun to be around believers again. Jake and Moni went too and had fun as well. Last Tuesday I started going to a youth fellowship and most of them were there so that was nice. This girl from fellowship and I have been talking a lot, she is super sweet and the other night we went out for snowcones.

We are again at war with The Neighbors, we brought them over some Peach pie made by Jake (shock and awe) to  get a leg up in the war, well not two days after they brought over pistachio muffins. We are still planning our next move, we're thinking Mexican food.

So finally today we took Agnes to the vet, she has black gunk in her ears. Come to find out it's mites and a yeast infection. :( we felt soooo bad! Her ears were down and she growled at Moni. We tried to pet her and comfort her but she would move to the other side of the cat rug and lay down with her back facing us. We knew we had to make it up to her somehow, so we took her to the pet store. We looked at the fish, which didn't help, we walked around, looked at toys...nothing made her feel better! So finally we took her to see the birds,  she loved the birds. Seriously, we sat there for a good five minutes. We got her a new toy and a harness and leash so she can walk around on the roof with us. When we finally got home Agnes hid herself. Moni and I are pretty sure she is plotting our death for later today. I'll let you know how that goes.

And since the pictures from about a year ago now aren't showing up when I try to upload them here's a video of The Beans helping Tia sweep the floor.
